Borrowed Brain

Four weeks where you borrow my brain instead of losing yours to the pile. I map what’s stuck, set the priorities, and get things moving again.

Book your Borrowed Brain

You're not stuck because you're bad at this.

You’re stuck because the pile got big. And once the pile gets big, you don’t know where to start. And once you don’t know where to start, nothing starts. Which makes the pile bigger. You see the problem.

Somewhere in there is a list. Possibly several lists. The lists are not helping.

Everything feels equally urgent. Nothing feels remotely doable. And the idea of explaining the whole sorry situation to someone else is, somehow, the worst part.

So you manage around it. You work harder than you should for results that feel smaller than they should. And the pile just sits there, judging you.

It’s a lot. And it’s been going on longer than you’d like to admit.

What happens if you don't do anything?

Nothing collapses. The business keeps running. You keep coping. You’re always coping.

But the stuff you actually want to do keeps getting bumped.

  • The client you want to take on.
  • The offer you want to launch.
  • The process you want to hand off.

Next week. Next month. Once things calm down.

Things don’t calm down on their own. You know this. You’ve been waiting long enough to know this.

The Borrowed Brain

Four weeks. One pile. Let’s deal with it.

£1750

Money’s tight right now?

I work from an anti capitalist pricing approach, so if £1750 isn’t doable, I offer a reduced rate of £1225 (30% off). Same service, just a slightly more affordable rate if cash is genuinely tight.

I’m not doing this because business is booming and I’ve got room to spare, I do need the income. But if you can pay full price, I’d rather you did, so the discount stays there for people who genuinely need it.

If you’re thinking “I don’t have the headspace for this right now”, that’s the pile talking. That’s exactly what this is for. Payment plans are available.

We start with a full mapping session. You tell me everything that’s in your head, your inbox, and your list of shame. I turn it into a prioritised plan with clear next actions. You don’t have to organise it first. That’s the point.

Then we get to work.

Weeks two and three are execution. I do what I can take off your plate directly. The rest we tackle together, in order. No skipping ahead because task fourteen looks more fun than task three.

Week four is the tie-off. We finish what’s in progress, document what needs documenting, and make sure nothing is left dangling.

By the end you’ll have a clear picture of where things stand, a shorter list, and actual evidence that things move when someone holds the thread.

What’s included:

Four weekly touchpoints, calls or async check-ins depending what’s needed

A shared project board (you never have to touch it)

Weekly email: here’s what’s done, here’s what’s next, here’s what I need from you

Direct execution on tasks I can take off your plate entirely

What does the project board look like?

One link, one view. Every task, who’s doing it, what’s next. You don’t update it, chase it, or think about it between sessions. You just look, when you want to know where things stand.

What does the email report look like?

One email a week. Done, next, what I need from you. No tracking required on your end, just open it and work from whatever’s next. It even has deadlines, which is more than most to-do lists manage.

Nothing changed until I stopped trying to go it alone

“I used to think I should be able to handle all of this on my own. That asking for help was something to feel ashamed of. But I can tell you: nothing changed until I stopped trying to go it alone.

Jenn has kept me on top of things I’d have let slide, recovered money I’d written off, filled out forms I couldn’t face, and helped me build systems I can actually maintain.”

Lotte Lane

Juggler of three businesses

Most people feel the shift in the first session.

Not because everything is fixed. It isn’t yet. But because it’s out of your head and into a plan. I’m holding it. Tracking it. Nothing slips. You get to the projects you actually want to work on.

That’s usually enough to sleep better on a Sunday night.

After four weeks, the pile is smaller. Measurably. Visibly.

The thing that’s been sitting there for three months has moved. The inbox is manageable. The project has a next action that isn’t “sort everything out.”

You also stop feeling like the problem is you. Because it wasn’t. It was just a pile. And you didn’t have to deal with it alone.

Why Jenn?

I’m Jenn. I’ve been working in tech since the late twentieth century, which is a Very Long Time Indeed. Long enough to have seen every variety of back-end chaos. I’ve not yet met a mess I can’t handle.

I’m autistic. I understand time blindness, task paralysis, and the specific misery of everything feeling equally urgent. I also genuinely enjoy spreadsheets, project plans, and figuring out what’s broken.

I don’t tell you what to do and leave you to it. I come in, take on the messy bits, figure out what matters, and get things moving. No judgement about the state of things. No masking required.

“Jenn is a safe pair of hands.

“Boring tech tasks have a way of living at the bottom of the to-do list forever when you’re neurodivergent. There’s always a reason to avoid them.

Working with Jenn meant I had actual deadlines, a clear task list, and someone tracking the details I’d have dropped. No deadline, no action. That’s just my reality.

Jenn is a safe pair of hands, and I say that as someone who has come back more than once.”

Take the next step

Fill in the form as best you can. Audio replies are fine if you’d rather talk than type. Skip any question you want to leave for the call.

Once you submit, you’ll be able to book a call with me straight away. We’ll talk through your project, and if we’re a good fit, I’ll send you an invoice and we get going.

No payment now. No commitment now. Just you saying: yeah, let’s have a chat.

Quick Answers

These are the questions I get a lot. If you don’t see yours, drop me an email on jenn@hellyeahtech.com

What if I’m too overwhelmed to even start?

That’s the right starting point. You don’t need to have it together before we begin. You don’t need to brief me, organise your thoughts, or know what the priorities are. That’s the first session. Show up with the chaos. I’ll do the rest.

Will you tell me what to do and leave me to it?

No. We’re a partnership. That’s the difference. You’re not getting a to-do list with a wave goodbye. We work through the tasks together. I do the ones you can’t face or can’t do. You do the ones you like and are good at.

What do I need to do as the client?

Turn up for calls when we have them, respond to async check-ins when they land, and handle the tasks that are genuinely yours to do. Everything else, I hold.

Do I need to be available a lot?

Depends on your pile and how much you want to hand off. Some people need very little from me beyond the sessions themselves. Others want more back and forth. We work out what’s realistic in the mapping session.

What actually happens in a session?

It’s a mix, some weeks a video call, some weeks a quicker async check-in by email or voice note, whichever fits what needs deciding that week. You’ll know in advance which one you’re getting.

What if I can’t make it to one of our sessions?

Life happens. We reschedule. No drama. The project board keeps everything tracked so nothing gets lost in the gap.

Four weeks feels reeeealllly tight to me – can we spread it out?

We can. Two weeks is the shortest gap I’d recommend to keep momentum, but we can stretch further. Taking a week off? Just say so, we roll over.

Can I trust you with my passwords and sensitive information?

Yes. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK , so the legal side is covered. In practice: I use what I need to do the job, and nothing goes further than that.
